I've gotten what I've wished for.. so there's really nothing else =)
gf's having a headache to get me things.. lol
not leaving her with many options.

already have a ps3, a wii, a psp, an adamo laptop..

so I suppose she could get me books but where's the surprise in that if she asks me what I want? lol.. =)
Birthdays are generally a pain in the ass to buy for especially for a guy =)

having hobbies makes it somewhat simpler though if a guy reads, you'll have to know him fairly well to know what to buy for him. otherwise it's generic stuff such as perfume/cologne which I don't really use btw.. wallets (which is still in very good shape), belts (2 new ones still hanging there), ties (can also but don't wear them all the time) oh... maybe an ipod.. I seem to have misplaced mine.

things which are new hobby like... photography.. I'm looking for a f1.4/35mm portrait lens.
I think that's pretty upfront and shameless as far as presents go.. lol
or maybe a new pair of futsal boots
or another pair of oakleys (love em)
or a holiday
or.. hmmm...
actually.. I'd be happy with a big celebration (meaning lots of ppl).. *hint hint*

I caught this episode of the sitcom. It was hilarious and somehow so apt.

Marshall and Lily were separated for 2 months when they were at the start of their relationship. She had a course somewhere in Paris.
This was what Marshall had to say about LDR.
"All the talking. No sex. Kill me now." lol

And Lily actually said the same thing too.. lol

Anyway, the reason why it came up was because Ted just started a relationship with this girl called Victoria. They had only dated for 2 months when she got this dessert scholarship in Germany. And after initially saying oh we should break up and all that, they eventually settled on a LDR but it's later revealed that he would break up with her anyway.

but yeah.. 2 months then she goes away. My story =)

this weekend, it was my cousin's wedding (yes another one, I have many).
I was one of the 'heng tai' which is sort of a custom where we travel to the bride's home to bring her back to the groom's home.

so on the flip side of the 'heng tai' business would be the female counterparts. 'ji mui'
so there were 3.
apparently one took a shine to me..

not quite insomnia...

This week have been the shittiest in terms of sleep in probably the past 10-15 years.
I'd go to bed at 12 or round about 12 give or take half an hour and then I'll wake up in the middle of the night. 3 am, 4 am, 5 am, etc..

I have no idea what it is that's been bothering me. But I'm tired. I'm not getting my requisite number of hours. It's almost as bad as when I slept at later hours. Kind of defeats the purpose.
Sigh.

Last time that I had something like this was when I was still in Melbourne before I met the committee. I'd have nightmares and sleeplessness and even went to see a doctor about it and got some sleeping pills. The effects only lasted some 3-4 hours before I'd be awake again. Then I knew what it was that was bothering me.
